About Us

Be part of the Pop Warner community
Winchester Pop Warner Cheer is a nationally awarded cheer program that competes in the New England Region. Comprised of student athletes ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old from Winchester and surrounding towns.* We have a team for everyone, inclusive of all abilities. We are proud to be offering competing teams for all ages and grades, starting with our Tiny Mites team for grades K-2, all the way through our Bantam program for high school athletes (in its THIRD season!), and everything in between. We also have an Adaptive program, entering its SIXTH season.
*Please note our Adaptive Program pulls from any town within a 15-mile radius of Winchester.

Join a winning program – develop skills both on and off the mat
Our coaches are committed to helping every athlete – regardless of skill level, background, or experience – to grow and develop as both a teammate and an individual. We emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, dedication, perseverance, accountability, and working as a team, while also focusing on building confidence and leadership skills. We strive to create a successful, inclusive team at all levels. No tumbling skills or experience is required, we will meet you where you are!

National Championships
The results speak for themselves...over the last 14 years, we are proud to say that we have achieved success at the highest level, including:
• 4 National Titles
• 13 second and third place finishes
• 3 fourth place finishes
• 3 perfect performances from our Adaptive Cheer team
We have also managed to have plenty of fun and to make lifelong memories for the hundreds of student athletes who have competed along the way, with the ultimate goal of earning a chance to compete at the Pop Warner National Cheer and Dance Championships.

Student Demonstrators & Coach Trainees
Student Demos & Coach Trainees are volunteer coaches that are under the age of 18 years old. They assist the head coach and are expected to attend practices, competitions, and games for the team which they are assigned.
If you are interested in helping as a student demo, please reach out to the Cheer Coordinator – we will determine which teams need help, and will place you with a team for the duration of the season.

Scholastics
Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom before permitting them to play.
Pop Warner believes that the standards they have set gives our student athletes a sense of responsibility and an appreciation for academics and athletics that will help them develop later on in life.
Like such organizations as the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and National Federation of High Schools (NFHS), PWLS has academic guidelines and criteria that need to be met in order for a child to participate.
